Freesat has been brought to you by the ITV and BBC. This means you can now purchase a satellite dish and receiver to get ALL the free channels, just like a FreeView box (which only covers about 73% of the country) if you are in a bad terrestrial TV reception area, this is the answer to your problems.

A dish is fitted on a South facing wall, a receiver or DigiBox is placed under your TV. Usually takes 45 minutes and you are up and running.

There is a one off payment, there are NO subscriptions. There are standard boxes, HD Boxes and yet to be released with a PVR built in.

For prices you need to phone. A standard dish installation is typically between £60 and £80. Boxes vary in price.
